As a resident of Watertown and a single mother of a 10-year old, I am excited to announce my candidacy for School Committee. I am passionate about education and want to ensure that all voices are represented when tough decisions are made.

Over the past 25 years, I have looked for ways to use my love of mathematics with my interest in improving education. Initially I was a math teacher, but eventually moved into educational research, earning a PhD at Boston College. I have spent the last 9 years working at MIT as Director of Admissions Research.
